The Last of Us Part II Goes to A Very Dark Place In a Brutal New Trailer

Sony and Naughty Dog have unleashed a new trailer for The Last of Us Part II, and if we were anticipating a supplement would be a bit lighter than a harrowing predecessor, well, keep hoping. The trailer stars 3 women, nothing of whom we’ve seen before.

Two of a women are prisoner by a organisation of cultists/fanatics, who try to lynch one and mangle a other’s arm with a produce in uncomfortably striking fashion. Thankfully, they’re discovered by a third bow-wielding woman. We know Joel and Ellie will be returning in The Last of Us Part II, though it seems we’ll be personification with some new characters, as well. Check out a trailer, below.

In a developer video, The Last of Us artistic executive Neil Druckmann reliable new playable characters and forsaken a few storyline hints:

“The Last of Us, during a heart, is about Joel and Ellie and their journey, though it’s also an garb square with all these other characters wise into that theme, and this time we wanted to concentration on some other unequivocally critical characters.

As distant as who these characters are, what their dispute is, where this takes place, when this takes place, um, we’re going to leave it adult to a fans to find out.”
