Senran Kagura Producer Leaves Marvelous After Frustrations Over Sexual Content Restrictions


Kenichiro Takaki, writer of a Senran Kagura series, has reportedly left his position during Japanese developer Marvelous.

Takaki, famous as a “huge bust producer” by fans interjection to his work on a mature-themed Senran Kagura games, had been operative with Marvelous for 13 years. The news of his depart comes around Famitsu magazine, with a interpretation from Gematsu divulgence that “restrictions on a depiction of passionate content” are mostly to blame.

According to Gematsu, Takaki “felt that a thread had snapped within him”, observant that while passionate calm is mostly criticised in games, copiousness of people suffer it, and that a new trend of a censorship will have disastrous effects on diversion growth as a whole. He will still work as a writer of Senran Kagura titles going forward, reportedly auxiliary with existent staff on a games, though will leave a required adjustments to Marvelous.

Now, Takaki skeleton to finish adult projects now in progress, including a new Marvelous-published multimedia plan that is set to engage a diversion and anime content, though has strictly changed to Dragalia Lost developer, Cygames, to work on console titles. Apparently, he hopes to emanate a normal fantasy-esque game.
