No, The Wii U Version Of Battlefield Isn’t Being Added To Smash Bros. Ultimate

Earlier this week, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate executive Masahiro Sakurai uploaded a design from a Switch entrance to Twitter, featuring Pit from a Kid Icarus array (see above). It sent many of his supporters into a frenzy, as a Battlefield turn in a credentials (picturing Inkling Girl) was indeed a one from Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

While many suspicion it was expected to be an comparison build of Ultimate, before a game’s possess singular Battlefield turn had been assembled (credit to GameXplain), it also led to furious conjecture that a prior Battlefield stages could be creation a lapse as DLC. It appears this is not a case, though. Sakurai beheld how some fans responded and motionless to stamp this out right divided with a following English tweet:

Yesterday we posted a pic display what looks like an aged chronicle of Battlefield. This was a dev theatre we used to check how a game’s warrior models would demeanour regulating a common light source, etc. You won’t find this in a final chronicle of a game!

So, there we have it – a theatre seen in Sakurai’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate screenshot is a dev theatre and it can’t be found in a recover version. Case closed.
