Namco Founder & “Father Of Pac-Man” Masaya Nakamura Passes Away At 91

Namco owner Masaya Nakamura has upheld divided on Jan 22, Bandai Namco has announced.

Publisher Bandai Namco announced a news yesterday. Nakamura who is also famous as a “father of Pac-Man”, upheld divided during a age of 91. The means of his genocide hasn’t been mentioned in a announcement.

Namco was founded by Nakamura behind in 1955 as Nakamura Manufacturing. The name was after altered to Nakamura Arcade Machine Corporation, shortened as Namco. Although creatively a provider of automatic kids’ rides, Namco stretched to arcade games in a 1970s following a squeeze of Atari Japan.

Several years later, in 1980, Namco would recover Pac-Man – a infamous arcade diversion that would turn one of a many successful video games of all time.

Namco is also famous for formulating a successful Souls and Tales array alongside Ridge Racer, Ace Combat, and of course, a Tekken series. In 2006, Namco purchased and joined with diversion association Bandai to form Bandai Namco Holdings.

Nakamura was awarded a Order of a Rising Sun in 2007 for his contributions to a Japanese industry. In 2010 he was inducted into a International Video Game Hall of Fame.
