Japanese Charts: Animal Crossing Overtakes Smash Ultimate To Become Switch’s Best-Selling Game

Famitsu’s Japanese draft sum are now in for 20th – 26th April, divulgence that Animal Crossing: New Horizons has crushed nonetheless another record – and this one’s a biggie.

The diversion sole an estimated 283,913 copies in Japan final week, holding a lifetime sales sum in a segment to a strong 3.89 million. This means that in terms of earthy sales in Japan (Nintendo doesn’t frequently yield a digital sales data, unfortunately) New Horizons is now a best-selling diversion on Nintendo Switch, overtaking Super Smash Bros. Ultimate that now sits during an estimated 3.66 million earthy copies sold.

Unsurprisingly, Animal Crossing also remained during series one this week, absolutely forward of new release, Trials of Mana.
