Inside Amazon’s Spheres

Amazon’s long-awaited Spheres are finally open to a open — kind of, anyway. The bulbous buildings are a workspace meant for Amazon employees to use and a open to admire mostly from outside, unless you’re partial of an Amazon HQ debate organisation or on a margin outing from a internal school.

Like many brave designs a Spheres are divisive: some will call them an distortion or attention-seeking function by Amazon, though others will admire their newness and inexhaustible use of space. Seattle is no foreigner to peculiar architecture, and a Spheres seem to mix a mind-bending MoPop (formerly a EMP) with a multifaceted complexity of a Central Library.

Click for many, many slides display off a Spheres, their design, their plant life, and a opening ceremony.
