Hey Glooglel

CES 2018 is here and it feels opposite to a TechCrunch team. Maybe we’re jaded. We’ve been doing this for years, fighting a scrum and braving this unholy city of filth.

CES 2018 feels some-more corporate than in a past few years. Google is here in a vital way. The association has a two-story counter with a slide. Google wasn’t here in a same ability in a same approach and a association clearly wants to make adult for it. Google is unfit to skip during CES 2018.

CES goes by changes as a consumer marketplace changes. Apple and Amazon are winning and startups are losing. Hardware startups are struggling to benefit a balance though they’re still perplexing so that’s since were here.

It roughly feels like companies are during CES 2018 since they’re fearful not to be here. It’s critical to remember that CES is a trade uncover during a core and essentially designed for companies to accommodate buyers and partners. The press is delegate and a uncover is not open to a ubiquitous public. Products announced here generally do not strike a consumer marketplace for months; some never launch.

For CES 2018 TechCrunch motionless to move fewer people and not to do a theatre uncover or live tide from a uncover floor. We were one of a initial outlets to do both and we motionless to do something some-more insinuate than in a past. We still have a plcae during a uncover though it’s a vast assembly space were we can have longer conversations with some-more companies. Stop by and see if any appointments are left.

The uncover strictly starts on Tuesday, that is when we’ll be during a booth, though press events start tonight. As John Biggs wrote about CES 2011, let a dullness begin.
