Google brings stickers and Bitmoji support to the Gboard for Android

Gboard for Android is removing support for stickers for all those times we only can’t find a right GIF. Words, after all, can’t always demonstrate how we unequivocally feel.

Gboard will concede we to insert stickers or Bitmoji into any app that supports picture pasting, that includes probably all a renouned messaging apps on Android. The association also worked with a few partners to launch plaque packs for Gboard. Most of these are free, yet Disney is charging $1.99 for a Mickey Mouse, Toy Story and Star Wars stickers (“Use a force and respond to your conversations with high peculiarity Star Wars stickers”). Other giveaway packs embody Google’s Allo selfie stickers, Hello Kitty, Garfield and NBAmoji. Thankfully, we also can get giveaway Minion stickers, since positively nobody is sleepy of saying Minion memes yet.

To get started, users need to download one of these plaque packs and a stickers will afterwards seem in Gboard, right subsequent to a common emoticon and GIF buttons.

A lot of this will feel informed to iOS users. While Gboard for iOS doesn’t support stickers nonetheless (though we would be astounded if Google didn’t launch some support for stickers on iOS in a future), stickers on iOS — and generally in iMessages — aren’t accurately a newness anymore.
