Didi adds Apple Pay support opposite core mobility services


China’s ride-hailing hulk Didi is this week adding support for Apple Pay to a core personal mobility services — including Didi Premier, Didi Express, Didi Luxe and ofo, a partner station-less bike-rental use also powered by an app.

Apple Pay is a mobile remuneration complement baked into iOS, that lets users substantiate payments with a fingerprint biometric (and shortly around Face ID — Apple’s new facial biometric underline in a iPhone X).

Didi already upheld other iOS facilities — such as ride-hailing by regulating Siri from within a Maps app, and around a Apple Watch.

It says it now supports remuneration by WeChat Pay, Alipay, Apple Pay, QQ Wallet, general credit cards and CMB OneNet Service for core services.
